Vines of Gatwick is looking for a Vehicle Technician.
Your roleAs a Technician at Vines, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for BMW and MINI vehicles. No weekends, Monday–Friday, up to £50,000 OTE uncapped bonus.
Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. Salary: uncapped and very achievable bonus scheme. Salary bands:
Service Technician (Non Brand / ATA) £35,500 – £41,200;
Accredited BMW Service Technician £41,000 – £45,000; BMW Accredited Senior £45,000 – £50,000.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on our vehicles.
- Diagnose and carry out repairs effectively and efficiently within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles according to BMW standards
- Advise and report on vehicle and parts faults and servicing requirements noticed while working on vehicles, including future servicing repair requirements
- Look for ways to identify future customer costs savings by recommending preventative maintenance and appropriate vehicle expenditure
- Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds qualification or other adequate qualifications.
- 1 year of experience in the diagnosis and or servicing, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
