Purpose of the Job

• To deliver mechanical and electrical maintenance across commercial or industrial sites, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

• To carry out reactive and planned maintenance while supporting uptime, compliance, and client satisfaction.

• To participate in the call-out rota as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair mechanical and electrical systems across the site.

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of works.

• Participate in the call-out rota (1 in
3), providing standby support with prompt response to emergencies.

• Complete maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation.

• Support overtime work for additional projects or tasks.

• Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance skills and career progression.

Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills

• M&E experience with either mechanical or electrical bias.

• Commercial or industrial site experience preferred.

• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Proactive, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

• Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 DOE

• Standby: 1 in 3 callout, £100 allowance

• Overtime available

Accountabilities

• Accountable to the Site / Contract Manager.

• No direct line management responsibility.

• Responsible for safe, compliant operation of all mechanical and electrical systems
