Commercial Heating Wet Worker Engineer
Location: M23 Corridor (with flexibility to travel)
Salary: £40,000 + Call Out (Minimum £4,000 retainer + paid door-to-door)

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Heating Wet Worker Engineer to join our Commercial Service Department. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and fixtures (radiators, cylinders, etc.) associated with district heating systems in residential properties. This includes testing, inspection, fault diagnosis, and delivering repairs to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose faults and select appropriate tools/materials for repair
- Install, maintain, and repair radiators, valves, cylinders, thermal stores, tanks, and ancillary equipment
- Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services
- Perform inspections and replace worn parts
- Isolate and cap leaking radiators/valves
- Wire controls for 2- and 3-port valves and immersions
- Complete site logs (written and electronic)
- Respond to callouts for heating/hot water systems, ensuring high first-time fix rates
- Participate in emergency call-out rota (1 in
5) - Adhere to company Health & Safety standards at all times
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 NVQ Plumbing or equivalent
- Experience: Plant rooms, commercial systems, and HIUs (essential)
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
