Maintenance Electrician

Required in locations through London and the South East

Working primarily as a mobile commercial maintenance Electrician undertaking Planned and Reactive Maintenance and small scale quoted installation and upgrade works.

BTU is a long-established Guildford based multi discipline M&E Company, operating throughout London and the Southeast of England. We offer the full range of Building Engineering services from design, supply and installation to after sales, maintenance and repair within the heating, ventilation and air conditioning sector. We are looking for qualified and experienced maintenance electricians, who want secure long-term employment with a company that is experiencing continued success and needs to expand their commercial work force to meet this growth.

We cover all types of contracts and look after systems serving Hospitals and Universities, Office Blocks and Civic Sites as well as Schools, Colleges and Residential Homes, where we have established successful and long-term relationships with our clients.

Our commercial maintenance electricians will;

• Receive work via a company provided Samsung Tablet and our CAFM software
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance work and quoted upgrades and repairs on client sites
• Ideally live in and would primarily work in the RG, SL, GU, RH or London postcodes

(But applications from engineers in other areas is always welcome to apply)

• Be On site working from 0730 hours Monday to Friday and complete an 8 hour working day (40-hour basic working week)

Skills, Qualifications and experience;

Qualified to an NVQ Level 3 standard in an Electrical Discipline

Hold current 18th Edition Qualification

Hold a Test and Inspect Qualification

Hold a JIB Gold Card as a minimum

Ideally hold PASMA and/or IPAF Certificates (Not essential)
Full Clean UK Driving Licence (Category C1 licence required)
Fully checkable work history and able to pass an enhanced DBS Check

Minimum 5 years post qualification experience

Salary & Benefits;

- Salary is between 35k and 40k and this is dependent on experience and dependent on

qualifications

- 20 days annual leave (plus 8 days bank holidays) with long service holiday increase in place

- Call Out participation is mandatory on a 1 in 6 basis
