We are recruiting on behalf of a privately‑owned Water Treatment specialist, who have imminent plans for revenue growth. They are seeking a hands‑on and proactive Water Treatment Account / Sales Manager, who can implement successful sales strategies and support continued company success. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, and will have a proven track record of winning new business within Water Treatment, Cooling Tower, Steam Boilers and Closed System contracts.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious who would be interested in moulding and developing an up‑and‑coming outfit within the industry. Salaries on offer are competitive and comes alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Must have a successful track record as a Water Treatment Account / Sales Manager
  • Strong sales experience and knowledge
  • Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 compliance standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional manner
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Ability to travel in line with company needs
The Role
  • Using existing industry experience, you will be supporting the overall growth of a medium‑sized Water Treatment outfit
  • Identifying new client leads and following up to secure new business
  • Highlighting gaps in the business, in which to expand
  • Using various sales techniques to on‑board and find new clients
  • Monitoring project progress to guarantee
  • Ensuring clients are receiving a high level of service
  • Meeting with prospective clients to establish their requirements
  • Devising thorough growth plans and forecasting for the future
  • Meeting with members of management and Directors to discuss progress
  • Upselling of services to existing clients
  • Producing detailed tenders and quotations for clients
  • Being a key point of contact for engineers and clients
