Job Description
Chef Education Activity Centre Hindhead
(High volume/mass catering is essential)
£31,229k per annum plus company benefits
The OpportunityA rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced cook to work within a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.
The RoleYou will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. You will prepare, cook and serve food for approx. 1200, always adhering to procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.
The role is working 5 days out of 7 42 hours per week overtime available
Shift patterns will either be 5.30am 1.30pm or 1.30pm 8.30pm

The ideal applicantWe are looking for an experienced Chef from a high-volume background, with some experience managing or supervising working within a busy environment. An enhanced DBS check is required.
We would welcome candidates from the MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains and hold the following qualifications
- Level 2 Food Safety and allergen management
- City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Supervisory qualification preferred
