Research Nurse B6

The role of the research nurse at The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RSCH) will be to support the set up and delivery of research. The role will involve screening patients and monitoring patients during studies, assisting with clinical investigations and the collection and documentation of accurate data. The research FFnurse will work collaboratively with all teams to provide excellent care for patients undergoing cancer treatments.,

The role involves using an in depth knowledge of research methodology and knowledge of the requirements of local, national and international research regulations.

• To assist the team leader in leading the team in the provision of high quality, research based, care that is patient focused.
• To support the team leader in the management and facilitation of the development of staff creating an effective team. Ideally we are looking for a nurse with experience in any field of medicine and research, looking for a new challenge and the desire to expand their knowledge base and their career within the field of clinical research.

The post holder will be organised, have a flexible approach to work and be motivated to provide excellent clinical care with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
