Contract:
Permanent, 33 hours each week with alternate weekends

Role OverviewAs an Activity Coordinator, you are the chief fun officer. You create a vibrant, joy‑filled atmosphere for residents, dreaming up exciting events and hobbies they love – from arts and crafts, baking, book clubs to pub quizzes. You work closely with residents and care teams to create tailored activity plans. Whether it’s gentle chair‑based exercise or a garden party, you bring people together for laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences.
Activities are also therapeutic, boosting гай residents’ spirit and well‑being.
- Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
- Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working toعليم a set activities budget.
- Organising birthday surprises for our residents.
- Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out and events at the home.
- Organising one‑to‑ones with residents – this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or a cup of tea and a chat.
- Supporting the home with their social media channels as required.
You are a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork, and effectively prioritise as priorities arise. You want to make a real difference, út caring for others, sharing your sense of humour, and spreading infectious enthusiasm for making people’s lives better.
