The Role As Head of Finance and Infrastructure, you will hold full responsibility for the organisation’s financial management and infrastructure oversight, ensuring robust governance and long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading all aspects of financial management, including:
Budgeting and forecasting Production of monthly management accounts Cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning Year-end processes and external audits Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Presenting clear, accessible financial information to non-finance managers and senior stakeholders Providing strategic financial insight to inform organisational decision-making Supporting income generation through financial input into funding bids and grant applications Overseeing financial reporting to funders and key stakeholders Managing treasury functions, including:
Banking and investment relationships Fund allocation Development of treasury strategy Strengthening financial governance and risk management in partnership with the CEO and Trustees Line managing finance and maintenance teams Collaborating with operational leaders to evaluate new projects and funding opportunities About You To succeed in this role, you will bring both technical expertise and strategic leadership capability. Essential experience and qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Head of Finance or equivalent) Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and compliance Experience developing and implementing strategic and business plans Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders Confident leadership skills with experience managing teams If you are a strategic finance professional seeking a purposeful leadership opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
