Corporate Tax Senior

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ tax experience within a professional accountancy practice
• Ideally, CTA finalist with study support available to complete qualification
• Demonstrates a good level of understanding of own technical/professional function
• Experience of working on long term client relationships and of working on a fee basis with clients
• Computer literate; in particular a good working knowledge of Excel
• Good working knowledge of Alphatax or CCH Corporation Tax and CCH Documents Filing

• A clear understanding of the Firm’s wider goals and vision
• A clear vision for Tax Service for clients
• Excellent communication skills – able to communicate openly and honestly at all levels
• Ability to compose letters and emails to convey complex information in a succinct and action orientated way.
• Experience of delegating work and supervising junior members of staff

• Able to demonstrate an astute use of initiative to solve problems
• The ability to work to timescales and meet deadlines
• Ability to plan and organise tasks/priorities effectively
• Gives appropriate attention to detail and has the ability to think laterally to provide a comprehensive approach to tax advice

• The ability to utilise technical expertise to contribute to the development and broadening of the service for clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships
• Ability to explain tax matters to clients clearly and concisely
