Trust Manager – Accountancy Practice Thame, Oxfordshire Hybrid & Flexible Working Competitive, based on experience An established accountancy and tax advisory practice in Thame is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join its growing Trusts and Estates team. This is a client-facing role offering responsibility for a complex portfolio of UK trust and estate clients , with strong progression opportunities within a supportive and professional environment.

This opportunity would suit a fully qualified ACA or ACCA professional with strong UK trust and estate experience, ideally from a medium or large accountancy firm.

The Role As Trust Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Preparation and review of trust and estate tax returns and trust accounts Managing a complex portfolio of UK Trust and Estate clients Reviewing Inheritance Tax (IHT) returns , including death estates, periodic charges and exit charges Assisting Partners with trust advisory work and technical trust queries Ongoing administration of trusts, including maintaining the Trust Registration Service (TRS) Acting as a key point of contact for clients and trustees Attending Trustee meetings with the lead Partner where required Supporting senior members of the Trusts team on advisory and compliance matters Candidate Profile Fully qualified (ACA or ACCA preferred) Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified UK practice experience , ideally within a medium or large firm Strong understanding of UK trusts and estates , including tax implications Experience preparing trust tax returns and trust accounts Knowledge of Inheritance Tax (IHT) for trusts and estates Agricultural and rural trust experience highly desirable Experience using CCH tax and accounting software beneficial What’s on Offer Hybrid working and flexible hours Opportunity to work closely with Partners on advisory matters Career progression within a growing Trusts team Competitive salary and benefits package Location Thame, Oxfordshire Easily commutable from Oxford, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and surrounding areas Next Steps For a confidential discussion or to apply, please get in touch Jack Wood on or
