Retail Security Officer

Pay rate: £12.60PH

Shifts: Various shifts (to be discussed at interview)

Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment that eliminates the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates. In some circumstances, training for a licence can be provided.

It is vital that you have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history. Failure to provide this may result in your offer being withdrawn or your employment being terminated.

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with store management teams
• Liaise with the police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship that supports crime reduction in store
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to increase colleague and customer safety
