Maintenance Engineer

Overview

A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will be part of a small engineering team and will involve maintenance, installation and repair of facilities, equipment and utilities on site. This is a permanent, full time role. Predominantly standard day shifts 7AM-3PM.

• Responsible for maintenance, installation, asset management & scheduling activities on site.
• Responsible for Facilities, Equipment and Utilities used in manufacture and analysis of pharmaceuticals, including Asset Management and Scheduling.
• First Line maintenance and repair as well as liaising with OEMs and external contractors to avoid downtime.

• Strong experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Able to work within a small team and independently, driving multi disciplinary conversations and solutions.
• Any prior experience of working in Clean Room Conditions and with any of the following is highly beneficial: FDG Synthesise rs, Cyclotrons, Hot Cells & any scientific equipment or instruments.

Prior experience in any of the below roles in Pharma, Food, Chemicals or similar industries would be highly advantageous :

• Site Engineer or similar role at a cGMP Manufacturing site.
• Field Service Engineer or Similar with an OEM manufacturing scientific equipment.
