Role Summary
We are seeking to appoint four inspirational and committed practitioners to join our Outreach Student and Family Engagement (SAFE) Team as part of an exciting pilot outreach programme working with partner primary schools across Key Stages 1 and 2. The location and operational area for the roles will be allocated and based within the four Surrey quadrants. This pilot project is designed to strengthen early intervention and inclusive practice, supporting children with emerging Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), behavioural, and pastoral needs.
The role will contribute to reducing barriers to learning, improving engagement, and preventing escalation to more intensive provision and risk of permanent exclusion.

36 hrs a week, Monday to Friday, term time only - Salary: PS 7: £28,864 – £30,766 (FTE £33,552 – £35,763)

- Maintain and drive forward outstanding standards while meeting the needs of vulnerable students.
- Communicate inclusively with students, staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Drive outreach activities within partner schools to strengthen early intervention.
- Experience of mentoring young people.
- Good all‑round knowledge of supporting the education of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- Excellent organisational skills and a sense of humour.
- High expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work inclusively with students, staff, parents and external professionals.
