Bramley Grange Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and committed Unqualified Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and playing a vital role in the day-to-day life of a thriving school.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with the work set. You will contribute to maintaining a calm, positive learning environment and support the school’s high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising whole classes and delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students to engage with learning and complete set work
* Liaising with teaching and pastoral staff as required
* Upholding safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
* Is confident managing groups of students in a classroom setting
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Is organised, adaptable and resilient
* Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
This role would particularly suit someone considering a future career in teaching, education, or youth work.
