The Role

Sutton High School is seeking an efficient, engaging, motivated and passionate leader to develop and drive forward provision for Maths across the 11‑18 age range.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and/or leading Maths, which is offered up to A Level, with an excellent record of pupil results, and will feel ready to lead others in an exceptional department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Maths department and shaping the vision for the curriculum.
  • Inspiring and enrolling pupils, maintaining a popular and successful Maths programme.
  • Developing and nurturing future leaders within the department.
  • Ensuring the curriculum remains innovative and exciting.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience teaching or leading Maths up to A Level.
  • Strong track record of pupil results.
  • Organisational skills and drive to shape departmental vision.
