A well respected fit out and refurbishment contractor who deliver projects to clients in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to deliver a programme of fit out and refurbishment projects in and around Guildford.

With schemes ranging from £0.5m to £6m across the leisure and commercial sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven individual looking for consistent freelance work over the next 6 months.

You will take full responsibility for managing projects on site from start through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors
• Maintaining programme and driving progress on site
• Ensuring H&S compliance and leading site safety
• Managing quality control and inspections
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team
• Managing site documentation and reporting

• Proven experience delivering fit out and refurbishment projects (essential)
• Experience working on leisure and/or commercial sector schemes
• Strong track record on projects in the £0.5m-£6m range
• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Card
• First Aid at Work certification
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward

• 6-12 months of secured freelance work
• Competitive day rate (DOE)
