Accounts Senior Guildford | £45,000 – £57,500 | Hybrid | Career Development We are delighted to be recruiting for a newly created Accounts Senior role with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding Accounts and Business Advisory Services team, where you will gain exposure to more complex accounts preparation and play a key role in shaping a growing service line.

The Role As a Accounts Senior, you will support the Manager in developing and delivering a new service designed to provide statutory accounts preparation for audit clients, with a focus on more complex assignments including group accounts and consolidations.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of businesses under FRS
102 and FRS
105 Work closely with the Manager to establish procedures and contribute to the growth of the service line Provide training and support to junior colleagues and new recruits Mentor and supervise junior staff as the team expands Liaise directly with clients to ensure high-quality delivery and build strong relationships About You ACA / ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with strong practice experience Background in Accounts and Business Advisory Services and/or Audit Skilled in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, consolidations and medium-sized FRS
102 accounts Strong communication skills with the confidence to support and mentor junior team members Ideally experienced with Caseware, CCH or other accounts preparation software Motivated, ambitious and looking for genuine career development opportunities Benefits Salary £45,000 – £57,500 depending on experience Hybrid working with flexibility Exposure to complex and interesting assignments Clear scope for progression and career development Supportive, collaborative working environment
