** Job Description Summary
** The Warehouse Operator I supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, storing, and fulfilling inventory. The role includes picking and packing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position requires strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds in a fast paced setting.
** Job Description
**** Responsibilities:
*** Pick and pack order in an accurate and efficient manner
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when required
* Coordinates activities surrounding the warehouse operations
* Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations
* Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions
* Organize stock and maintain inventories
* Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment
* Report on any unsafe work conditions that may occur
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies:

*** Ability to lift 50 LBS
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
* Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Required to operate material handling equipment
*
* Required Experience:

*** Minimum 1 year of recent distribution or warehouse experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Comfortable working at heights while using machinery, when required
* Excellent attendance and punctuality
* Experience using RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required
* Licensed with any one of the following forklifts:
Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker (Reach experience preferred) is a strong asset
* Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills both oral and written
* SAP background preferred but not required
* Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
