We are looking for a full-time Renovation Carpenter who will be responsible for all aspects of renovations on residential and commercial losses, returning properties to pre-loss condition after being affected by flood or fire. This involves physical work, which would include but not be limited to carrying equipment and construction materials.
Responsibilities- Framing, insulating, drywall, mud/tape, paint, trim
- Exceptional in drywall/mud/tape and texturing
- High quality finishing such as trim and molding
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and methods of all aspects of carpentry
- Measure, cut, or shape wood and other materials using power tools
- Install interior and exterior structures and fixtures, including electrical components
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and frames
- Follow safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain company equipment and supplies, including chemicals
- Maintain company vehicles (inspections, maintenance, cleanliness)
- Follow blueprints and building plans
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's license with no restrictions
- Ability to operate company‑owned vehicles
- Willingness to submit personal information for a criminal background check
- Renovation: 3 years (preferred)
- Construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred), reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of carpentry work
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures
Full‑time, Permanent
Salary$25.00–$32.00 per hour
