Project Coordinator

LOCATION:

Our client is a leading, specialized distributor of industrial products selling solutions to commercial customers across Ontario. With a growing team and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to add a Project Coordinator to their team to work alongside sales and technical teams while owning customer experience and project flow.

The Project Coordinator is a customer-facing, relationship-driven role sitting at the intersection of project management, customer service, and inside sales
.

This person doesn’t need to be the deepest technical expert, as there are technical experts already on the team, but they do need to keep projects organized, customers informed, and teams aligned.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Customer Experience
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers ordering equipment
  • Coordinate between customers, technical specialists, and internal teams to keep projects on track
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and next steps—holding people accountable
  • Ask smart questions and surface gaps so others can solve technical challenges efficiently
  • Maintain momentum while technical experts handle the “deep dive” work
  • Relationship Management
  • Build trust with customers through consistent, personable communication
  • Maintain strong internal relationships across technical and sales teams
  • Inside Sales & Growth Support
  • Field inbound calls and inquiries
  • Support onboarding and handoff of existing customers
  • Make outbound calls to support sales initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to help when quotas or timelines are at risk
  • Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education
  • Education related to project management highly preferred
  • Strong communication
  • Extroverted, confident, and personable
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Organized, self-directed, and excellent at managing your own day
  • Knowledge of distribution is an asset
  • Customer-facing experience ideal
