ROLE: Millwright/Mechanic

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

LOCATION: Guelph

• You are a quick learner with the ability to learn parts (CMMS) systems quickly
• You are a multitasker who can juggle priorities, maintain composure, and meet deadlines
• You have strong mechanical aptitude and can interpret financial/performance reports
• You are deadline‑oriented and able to maintain composure under pressure

• You have at least 3‑5 years of experience in dairy, liquid or similar food and beverage‑type transformation processes
• You have experience working closely with a team to fix and solve equipment issues.
• You have excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills
• You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Computer skills would be an asset.
• Experience working with a CMMS would be an asset
• Familiar with continuous improvement processes and methodologies would be an asset.

• Improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Repair and maintain equipment (processors, homogenizers, pasteurizers, packaging, etc).
• Lead local management of parts for projects and coordinate contractors’ activities as required.
• Check shipment when they arrive and contact suppliers for any issues or inquiries.

• Night Shift 11pm to 7am
• Must be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the job.
