Business Analyst, Junior - ERP
Job SummaryThe Junior Business Analyst position is responsible for performing extensive scope business analysis work including workflow analysis, business information requirements, and models.
Responsibilities- Prepare functional process charts to analyze business operations.
- Assist in designing or modifying practical manual and automated business procedures.
- Assist with the design of business processes and documentation.
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new business applications and enhancements.
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business standards and systems goals, and identify and resolve business system issues.
- Assist in performing cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems.
- Work with QA team to coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and new systems.
- Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and support purchasing.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
- Meet with internal clients to discuss topics such as project activities, technical specifications, current business practices, growth plans, regulatory and reporting requirements, and security risks.
- Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- PMI CAPM and PMP certification are assets.
- Minimum one to three years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and business and finance applications such as ERPs, forecasting and consolidations and RPA applications.
- Excellent documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate on a technical and non-technical level depending on the audience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot in a fast paced and demanding environment.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- 26%–60% international travel for implementations, usually 3–4 weeks at a time.
- In-office position in Guelph, ON. Minimum 3 days per week to 5 days per week as required; 100% in office during implementations.
