HowYou Will Create Impact
- Proactively identify strategies and initiatives that enhance service, reduce costs, and resolve blockers; lead efforts to identify technical opportunities to improve processes, delivery, and usability.
- Support the development of the digital technology roadmap, from strategy through delivery and ongoing maintenance of technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, Sitecore CMS, and AI solutions.
- Lead an effective digital technology organization, overseeing operations for platforms including , National Quote & Buy, Online Services (OLS), Co‑op Mobile, Claims eFNOL, ensuring availability, performance, security, application currency, and regulatory compliance.
- Leverage deep project delivery knowledge to manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective delivery of technical solutions that meet business strategic and tactical needs.
- Ensure adequate vendor research, vetting, and that software purchases align with internal standards.
- Empower cross‑team development through an internal excellence mindset, ensuring quality solutions for business partners.
- Collaborate with enterprise businesses and stakeholders to define business plans and develop advanced technology solutions supporting growth objectives.
- Maintain strategic vendor relationships, manage contracts and SLAs, and ensure compliance with risk, security, and guidelines.
- Manage financial and business performance, set department‑wide goals, KPIs, and targets.
- Lead and engage your team, fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.
- 10+ years of progressive, related experience, with expertise across the plan‑build‑run technology spectrum.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- In‑depth custom digital solution development experience, ideally in the financial services industry; recent AI adoption experience is an asset.
- Experience leading planning and successful execution of complex technology projects or initiatives.
- Demonstrated collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, vendor relationship management, and contract negotiations.
- Financial acumen to interpret and make decisions impacting projects and operations.
- Experience in financial services and/or insurance; understanding of digital distribution channels is an asset.
- Strong people‑leader, skilled at leading sizable teams to solve complex problems in an engaged environment.
- Initiate new strategies and lead implementation of organizational change.
- Integrate complex information to identify solutions, applying a strategic mindset to adjust business plans.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement focused on client experience.

Expected Salary Range: $131,124 -- $218,540
The salary amount will be determined by Co‑operators at its discretion, based on local market conditions, geography, and candidate qualifications.
Employees may have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance.
