We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Lead for a 12–14 month maternity leave contract. In this key leadership role, you’ll report directly to the Controller and play an essential part in maintaining the financial health, accuracy, and efficiency of our Accounts Receivable operations.

What You’ll Do Leadership & Team Development- Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate Accounts Receivable team members
- Motivate and support your team in achieving departmental goals
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly AR activities
- Ensure customer payments are entered accurately and on time
- Review AR reports to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
- Lead the AR portion of the month-end close and reporting process
- Resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries efficiently and professionally
- Manage collections, including reviewing credit memos and revised invoices
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with external partners
- Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and department controls
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain accurate and complete financial and employee records
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience within a mid-size or larger organization
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in business systems and bookkeeping software
- Analytical thinking with strong planning and problem-solving skills
- A high level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices
- Immediate leadership impact in a vital finance function
- Exposure to strategic financial processes and reporting
