Our client, a growing and well-established construction company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will partner closely with leadership to ensure accurate job costing, strong financial controls, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support month-end and year-end close
- Prepare financial statements and WIP/job cost reports
- Oversee AP/AR and payroll functions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience (construction experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of job costing and WIP reporting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
