Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Global Finance & Compliance and working closely with the finance team, executive team and management this role is responsible for providing financial analysis to support decision-making and measurement of company performance against strategic priorities in a fast-paced and agile business environment. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in our Guelph office required.

What you will do:

• Consolidated financial and operational reporting
• Perform financial consolidations including complex month-end transactions
• International subsidiary financial review and analysis
• Identify and analyze relevant trends in data and present results / recommendations to management
• Assist in the development and implementation of benchmarks / Key Performance indicators
• Global consolidated budget development / forecasting

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree and recognized accounting designation (in progress or completed)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Clear understanding of the principles of consolidating an international financial structure
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, nested if-statements, sumifs, etc)
• Experience with MS Dynamics AX and multi-language skills are an asset
