Upper Grand District School Board is seeking a dynamic individual to join our secondary teaching team for a Long Term Occasional (LTO) assignment in the English Department.

John F. Ross CVI, Guelph - Pay: $59,300.82 – $ per annum (salary grid rate based on QECO rating and teaching experience; salary prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective 1 Sept 2025)

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long‑Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
Required Qualifications- Intermediate level in English
- Teaching experience and appropriate QECO rating (as applicable)
- Valid Provincial teaching certification (if applicable)

An original Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) must be provided prior to the commencement of employment (if the successful candidate is external).
