UGDSB invites applications for a Long Term Occasional Teacher to cover a temporary absence in a secondary English classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the principal of the assigned school.
  • Provide continuous, high‑quality instruction during the temporary absence of the regular teacher.
  • Support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
  • Maintain lesson continuity, assessment, and classroom management appropriate to a 3‑section English program.
Required Qualifications
  • Intermediate or senior level Canadian Teacher certification in English.
  • Teaching experience in an Ontario secondary setting (preferred).
