The essentials

  • Location:

    Puslinch, ON—(a quick hop-skip-jump from Cambridge, Kitchener, Milton, Burlington, and Waterdown)

The impact you’ll make

You’ll be the hub that connects purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and customer updates—so technicians have what they need, jobs start on time, and customers always know what’s happening. It’s hands‑on operations with real ownership and visible results.

What you’ll own

  • Purchasing & PO creation:
    Build/send POs, maintain stock levels, and update parts in Quick Books (Enterprise experience is a plus).
  • Scheduling:
    Coordinate jobs in Smart Service, load parts to work orders, confirm dates with customers (phone/email), and update our CRM.
  • Inventory control:
    Run cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, organize warehouse and technician‑truck inventory, and keep the accounting system accurate.
  • Job kitting & receiving:
    Prepare job bins, pull stock, track readiness, receive deliveries, verify against POs, manage RMAs/returns, and return surplus parts to inventory.
  • Contract management & billing:
    Create/maintain customer contracts; invoice customers and process payments after reviewing materials and labour.
  • Team support:
    Keep the stock room tidy, assist with pick‑ups/deliveries, and help answer the phones—we value a real voice.

What you’ll bring

  • 3–5 years of progressive inventory/purchasing experience
  • Experience scheduling a team or projects.
  • Experience in the Security / Alarm industry would be a Super‑Duper Bonus!
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with clear, ongoing communication with customers and technicians
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office and Quick Books (Enterprise bonus)
  • Strong prioritization, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work both independently and with a team
  • A happy, helpful, friendly approach; reliable, trustworthy, and “all‑in”
