Landscape Design Director

The Project Design Director leads the comprehensive development of architectural and landscape design projects, ensuring alignment with the firm’s design vision, quality standards, and strategic objectives. This position is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the architectural and landscape design vision across multiple projects.
Define conceptual frameworks, approve narratives, and ensure design coherence with the overall project vision.
Oversee project planning, schedules, and deliverables to meet quality and performance goals.
Collaborate with administrative and operations teams to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
Provide mentorship and professional development for project managers, lead architects, and design teams.
Manage coordination with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders to guarantee project success.
Evaluate design decisions to ensure consistency with budget, sustainability, and functional goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related field focused on DESIGN.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture and large-scale design projects.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
Strong knowledge of master planning, urban and landscape design principles.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Advanced proficiency in design and project management software.
Ability to work on-site in Zapopan, Jalisco.
Advanced English is a MUST

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Profiles with a background primarily in construction or site supervision will NOT be considered.
Only candidates with a strong design background and experience in conceptual and schematic design will be reviewed.

Preferred Qualifications

Postgraduate studies or specialization in Urban Design or Landscape Architecture.

Experience with sustainable and innovative design practices.
Familiarity with international project standards and coordination.
