Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Grovetown, Georgia. Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver positions pay weekly.

Warehouse positions involve first shift with potential overtime.

• Hourly Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday with OT as needed

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
• Able to maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Possesses a high degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work on different shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
