Forklift Operator 1st Shift – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator for the 1st Shift. Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The role supports a modern warehouse using sit‑down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, primarily handling tractor parts.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $16.00 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $24.00 per hour
- Schedule:
6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday (OT as necessary)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One year or more of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator’s License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team; maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow health & safety methods
- Available for a flexible schedule during the 1st Shift
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
