A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Operating Room nursing is sought to contribute to the delivery of exceptional perioperative care. This role requires a proactive, patient-focused professional to support individualized, high-quality, and safe care within a collaborative clinical environment. The successful candidate will uphold nursing standards aligned with state regulations and nationally established codes of ethics and practice.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
  • Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, promoting cultural competency.
  • Engage patients and families in care planning and education through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and document patient care, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
  • Participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities to enhance care outcomes.
  • Support professional development through competency assessments, mentoring, and ongoing education.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize resources efficiently to optimize patient care across the continuum.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification mandatory upon hire.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program with clinical experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Schedule:
  • Night shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week.
  • Availability for varied days, on-call as needed, every other weekend minimum, and holiday coverage required.
