Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day / Night / Various Shifts Available
We are seeking a dedicated and quick-thinking Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. In this fast-paced environment, you will provide immediate, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
✅ Must-Have Skills- Active Georgia RN License (or Compact License)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS & PALS Certifications (Required or within 90 days of hire)
- TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred
- Strong triage, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in high-stress situations
- Perform rapid triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Provide direct nursing care for emergency and trauma patients
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Assist with procedures including intubation, central lines, and trauma stabilization
- Monitor and document patient status accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred)
