Lead Pharmacy Operations at Wellstar’s brand-new Columbia County Medical Center in Grovetown, GA.

• Provide oversight, direction, strategic planning, and coordination to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient use of medications across all operational, clinical, and financial pharmacy services at Wellstar’s newest hospital.
• Report directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations and oversee a team of 68 FTEs and three direct reports.
• Establish foundational framework for expanding pharmacy services, including growth into ambulatory and infusion services.
• Evaluate procedures, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen medication safety practices.
• Build and foster relationships and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required;

  D preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license required.
• Minimum of seven years of hospital pharmacy experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of medication safety and experience with the 340B program – desirable.
