Job DescriptionProvide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating our customers/employees in a fair and ethical manner, providing a safe, clean, inclusive environment, being a responsible member of the community, providing the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Provide direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws.

- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations according to company, local, state, and federal health codes; identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
- Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
- Manage inventory and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies following company guidelines.
- Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas.
- Count, measure, and prepare products following best practices.
- Complete billing procedures accurately to ensure value for customers and the company.
- Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and provide appropriate responses.
- Adhere to company policies on vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines.
- Operate cash register following policies to prevent loss, handling various payment methods.
- Provide excellent customer service while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing tasks.
- Assist pharmacists in responsibilities excluding professional judgment.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality.
- Support health and wellness initiatives.
- Manage legend orders and deliveries.
- Work effectively in high-paced and stressful environments.
- Manage conflicts cooperatively and professionally.
- Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Meet state requirements for the role
- Previous relevant experience
- Experience as a pharmacy clerk
- Familiarity with EPRN
