Provide direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws.

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations according to company, local, state, and federal health codes; identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Manage inventory and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies following company guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas.
• Count, measure, and prepare products following best practices.
• Complete billing procedures accurately to ensure value for customers and the company.
• Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and provide appropriate responses.
• Adhere to company policies on vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines.
• Operate cash register following policies to prevent loss, handling various payment methods.
• Provide excellent customer service while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing tasks.
• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities excluding professional judgment.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Manage legend orders and deliveries.
• Work effectively in high-paced and stressful environments.
• Manage conflicts cooperatively and professionally.
• Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Meet state requirements for the role

• Previous relevant experience
• Experience as a pharmacy clerk
• Familiarity with EPRN
