Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Friday; availability required on weekends)

Pay: $16.00/HR

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Flex Duct Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling flex duct in a manufacturing environment, using both compressed air tools or manual methods. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently under supervision, and the physical stamina to handle both light and heavier products.

Position Responsibilities:

* Set up and load assembly tooling with raw material.

* Identify raw materials by part number as per the production schedule.

* Make adjustments to equipment when necessary to ensure smooth production.

* Complete the First Article process and fill out quality documentation.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

* For manual assembly lines:
Handle larger diameter products that may be heavier and more challenging to assemble by hand.

* Perform additional duties and projects to support ongoing business needs as required.

Nature & Scope:

* Work is closely supervised, following well-defined instructions.

* Use established procedures to perform tasks under supervision.

Knowledge &

Skills:

* Strong basic math skills are essential.

* Legible handwriting and clear reading of labels and numbers.

* Ability to operate in a high-speed and fast-paced environment.

* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a dynamic setting.

* Strong judgment, work ethic, and integrity.

Experience:

* Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred but not mandatory.

Education/Certification:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

* Ability to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

* Manufacturing environment with forklift traffic.

* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and gloves.

* Must be able to stand (up to 90%), walk (up to 10%), and perform tasks that require stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, and turning.

* Lift, carry, and push up to 40 lbs.

* Repetitive motion involving hand-eye coordination, tool handling, and foot pedal movements.
