Shift: Core Operator - 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM
Location:
Groveland, FL
Pay Rate: $18/HR
Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a Core Operator for our 3rd shift. As a Core Operator, you'll be tasked with producing cores of all sizes according to production schedules while ensuring quality and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow safety procedures, and a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Position Responsibilities:
* Stamp date codes on each core.
* Verify length for the first 10 pieces produced.
* Perform pre-shift and hourly checks to ensure quality.
* Change wire as needed following proper procedures.
* Tape the ends of cores to cover wire.
* Properly label and tag boxes of cores with accurate production numbers.
* Accurately complete daily production and machine reports.
* Crush core material to specified size.
* Perform routine housekeeping and machine maintenance tasks.
* Complete other duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
* Must have basic math skills.
* Legible handwriting is essential.
* Mechanical inclination preferred.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
* Must be able to meet the goal of producing 22,500 feet of core or 900 pcs.
Physical Requirements:
* Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 40 lbs.
* Repetitive wrist motion and foot pedal movements.
* PPE required:
Hearing protection, steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves.
