Responsibilities

• Materials Handling:
  • Pull parts, package, and set up in Fedex system for shipping.
• Storage and Organization:
  • Analyze current inventory layout and get rid of old/obsolete inventory to free up plant space for better organization of current inventory.
  • Maintain clean and safe racking.
  • Safety sensitive position.
• Liaison:
  • Work with IT and Engineering teams to implement inventory tracking.
  • Work with Purchasing to verify exceptions.
  • Assist with making transfer decisions.
  • Perform count audits, assist with inventory counts.
  • Coordinate with similar teams at other plants to ensure material/supply parts are not duplicated.

Job Requirements

• Ability to use various hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Stand for long periods.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
• Very close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs independently.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Experience with MS office, proficiency in Excel.
• EDUCATION:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.
