The role of the Roadside Technician is: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.” When a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer’s location to repair or change the tire. A Technician is expected to be roadside when performing their duties. When there are no service calls, Technicians help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.

• Respond to tire-related failures at customer locations and perform tire repair or replacement for semi-truck fleets.
• Mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and assist with general duties as needed when not on service calls.
• Adhere to safety policies, wear proper PPE, and follow OSHA regulations.
• Interact with customers professionally and contribute to a positive service experience.

There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During on-call periods, technicians may perform after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate, including weekends and nights. Time worked on after-hours calls is paid at double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call. Example: if a call is completed in 45 minutes, an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay is provided.

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including wearing PPE, using tire cages, and following safety policies and procedures
