The Production Supervisor ensures daily production operations meet organizational expectations. This role is accountable for team performance, operational efficiency, product quality, and maintaining a safe, well‑supported work environment.
Duties and responsibilities- Directly supervise assigned production team members.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment needs and maintain optimal performance.
- Partner with Quality to ensure consistent production of high‑quality gloves.
- Communicate with Engineering regarding defect trends or issues identified by packing teams.
- Work with Warehouse personnel to ensure packaging materials are staged according to the 24‑hour production plan and weekend requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts with Maintenance, EH&S, and Engineering.
- Conduct daily safety walks and participate in safety committee meetings.
- Hold team members accountable to performance and behavioral expectations.
- Manage and enforce ergonomic rotation of team members.
- Report daily production performance to leadership.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operating environment.
- Background in a chemical or manufacturing facility.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Skilled in conducting difficult conversations and managing performance.
- Knowledge of standardized business processes and internal controls.
- General familiarity with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in team development and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
Working conditions
- Work Hours
- 12‑hour shift schedule.
- Overtime compensated per applicable labor laws.

- Mandatory PPE (helmets, gloves, safety goggles).
- Participation in scheduled safety drills.
- Clearly marked emergency exits and first‑aid stations.
- Regular standing, walking, squatting, and occasional lifting.
- Well‑ventilated, well‑lit work areas.
- Exposure to varying temperatures in non‑climate‑controlled spaces.
- Smoking permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Training and Development

- Ongoing skills and job‑specific training.
