. The Buckeye Ranch is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Residential Treatment Program. The Medical Assistant ensures that The Buckeye Ranch maintains a client and family centered, customer service focus within the Residential Nursing department. The Medical Assistant provides care for the comfort and well-being of clients, including giving prescribed medications and treatments according to approved policy and procedures.

Schedule: Full‑time, Non‑Exempt (Mon – Fri, 8am – 4pm) Fully In Office

• Supports the coordination of transportation to and from client medical appointments as assigned.
• Completes medication counts within residential programs as assigned.
• Inventories and maintains supplies for nursing offices and first aid kits.
• Provides basic first aid and emergency care to youth and staff and then advises supervising RN.
• Evaluates illnesses and reports findings to supervising RN. Follows up as needed, monitors and/or administers medications as prescribed under the directions of an RN.
• Assists in health screens and reports findings to RN.
• Orders supplies and equipment and picks up as needed.
• Performs clerical duties related to nursing work.
• Transports clients to external medical appointments.

Who You Are

• You have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• You are a certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• You have one year of Medical Assistant experience.
• You have an active driver license and insurance.
