The Naz Church is seeking a Naz KDZ Early Childhood Ministry Assistant to support our ministry to infants through Pre-K and their families. This role plays a vital part in creating safe, welcoming, and well-organized environments where young children can begin to experience God’s love and families feel supported each week.
Position OverviewThe Early Childhood Ministry Assistant supports weekly ministry needs for infants through 2-year-olds, prepares Pre-K curriculum materials, and assists with special programs such as Pizza, Play, and Praise (P3). This position works closely with ministry leaders and volunteers to ensure classrooms are prepared, transitions are smooth, and every child is cared for with excellence.
Responsibilities- Prepare classrooms, supplies, and check-in stations for weekly services
- Greet families and assist with child check-in and transitions
- Support volunteers in classrooms and during ministry programming
- Help lead age-appropriate Bible truths, worship songs, and activities
- Sanitize toys, materials, and spaces following each service
- Track attendance and assist with weekly ministry organization
- Set up and tear down for Wednesday night programming, including P3
- Create, organize, and prep lesson materials for Pre-K and P3
- Assist with churchwide events, holiday programs, and special services as needed
- A genuine love for children and families
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Comfortable working with infants, young children, parents, and volunteers
- Strong people skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence
- Regular attendance at The Naz Church and ownership of its vision and mission
