Data Engineer, Cloud Computing
* Hands-on experience with distributed application architecture and implementation using MapR or other Hadoop Distributions.
* Hands-on experience with Hadoop Ecosystem, particularly Spark, Drill, Impala, Python, R.
* Exposure to Teradata or other Data Warehousing solutions.
* Hands-on experience using Linux and scripting.
* Performance tuning skills.
* Experience as an architect who can understand use cases, and design and develop PoCs.
* Ability to collaborate with offshore teams as needed.
* Experience handling different file formats in Hadoop Ecosystem.
* Preferably, a background in data management and relevant experience.
Desirable Technical Skills* Exposure to analytics and data science tools.
* Experience with Ansible scripting, Storm, Zeppelin, Impala.
Mandatory Functional Skills* Exposure to life sciences and pharma domains.
* Experience working in the pharma domain using any Hadoop distribution.
