Duties
  • You will be responsible for leading and managing an engineering branch in the area of Mechanical Engineering associated with the design, construction and/or repair of submarines by Electric Boat.
  • You will be responsible for the technical adequacy of the decisions and positions taken by subordinates, for providing direction to subordinates, and making recommendations to higher authority.
  • You will be responsible for advising the Division Head of broader and higher responsibility problems involving a relationship with the work of the unit supervised to the broader program and its impact on such programs.
  • You will provide supervision to include guidance on technical and administrative matters, identifying developmental training needs, balancing workload to meet critical/emergent requirements, and assigning work to subordinates based on priorities.
