Pro Health Physicians, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a PGY2/PGY3 Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Resident Physician to join our Primary Care Physician Pathways Program – a mentorship transition plan into Primary Care practice for post-residency.

• Mentorship from an experienced physician leader to support your transition from training into a full‑time primary care physician role.
• Consistent check‑ins via phone, virtually, or in‑person with a minimal time‑commitment (3 hr/mo) and a generous bi‑weekly salary throughout your final year of residency training.
• Enhancement of experience throughout your final months of residency while eliminating the burden of job searching.

• Customizable experience. This individualized program will be completed at Pro Health Physicians facilities and/or virtually with deep exposure into primary care and practice environment.
• Minimum time‑commitment of only a few hours per month (1–3 hrs) compensated bi‑weekly in addition to a post‑resident primary care physician position.

• M.D. or D.O.
• Must be transitioning into the final year of residency or fellowship or early into the final year – PGY2 Resident Physician transitioning into PGY3 Resident Physician (Best Timing).

• Preferred candidate will be a local physician resident in Connecticut, but not required.
• Would prefer candidates who plan to practice primary care in Connecticut post‑residency.

The hourly range for this role is $39.90 to $59.86 per hour based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. United Health Group complies with all minimum wage laws.
