Job Summary
SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Supply Chain Manager to work in support of our production efforts for numerous large prime contractors in the DoD arena. Our supply chain needs an experienced manager to implement structure, ensuring procedures are accurate and scalable with our sales. This candidate will work in conjunction with the Production Operations Team, coordinating, organizing, and overseeing all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of products.
Key Responsibilities- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers.
- Facilitates the timely procurement of materials and supplies to meet production schedules.
- Creates and maintains the hierarchical relationship of parts for bill of material (BOM) structure.
- Manages production inventories to ensure products are segregated by project and on hand when needed (including working within the constraints of Government Property guidelines).
- Oversees the issuance of shop floor work routers and inventory kits to support production builds.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the Materials Management Module within Deltek Costpoint Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software tool.
- Direct supervision of a small team of inventory specialists and procurement specialists.
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable helping to develop and refine existing supply chain procedures and processes.
Education: Minimum of Associate's degree, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Advanced technical training packages (such as Navy Advanced Training "C" School) can be substituted for an Associate's Degree.
Experience: 5+ years of related professional experience in supply chain management.
- Experience managing people or teams preferred.
- Experience using and implementing Enterprise Resource Management technology; preferably Deltek Costpoint is required.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
Travel: Infrequently.
Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Electronics Assembly and Testing Laboratory - Sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Significant use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as viewing computer screens. Occasional lifting 40lbs., occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling and squatting. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions for temperature and lighting.
