This is an ambulatory surgery center that is part of a major healthcare system, offering a collaborative anesthesia care model in a high-quality outpatient surgical environment. The facility features a fast-paced ambulatory division with over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians, providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Details:

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care including intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics

• Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties including total joints, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, endoscopy, and general surgery

• Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages and ASA classes including pediatrics and geriatrics

• Provide airway management services and monitor patients intraoperatively

• Manage anesthesia-related complications and deliver post-anesthesia care and pain management

• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR system

• Travel to other ambulatory sites as operational needs arise

• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary surgical teams

• No call required and no weekends

• Must have CRNA Certification (NBCRNA), active Michigan RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications

• Minimum 1 year CRNA experience required (not including RN or training)

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nurse Anesthesia required

• Must have clean malpractice and license history

• Not open to candidates seeking long commutes or alternate schedules
