Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. In March 2012, the Cotton Family Birth Center at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital was designated a Baby-Friendly birth center by Baby-Friendly USA.

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.

Scope of work As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate diagnostic CT exams in accordance with department protocols and regulatory requirements. Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA). Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure quality imaging and patient care. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures. Accurately-document procedures and equipment checks as required.

Qualifications
  • Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience; 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA (American Heart Association) Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC (American Red Cross) Upon Hire required
